We are passionate about freeriding and building businesses

Letsgosfreeriding was founded in 2014 by Gerry Haag, Philipp Baier and Michael Pfeffer. We organize regular events for entrepreneurs from various industries with a passion for skiing and freeriding. At the events you will experience a magic blend of:

Gerry Haag

Freeriding Entrepreneur - Letsgosurfing

With a Ph.D. in biomechanics in his pocket and lots of salmon experience from being a harbor master in British Columbia Gerry ventured on to play significant roles in building a range of Internet businesses since the late 1990s. These include amazon, gourmondo, lovefilm, badoo, privax, and barefootliving. His father, a passionate skier and state-certified ski instructor, put Gerry on skis at the age of 1 on Crystal Mountain, USA. Ever since then Gerry has been addicted to snow, first as a competitive ski racer and then easing into the beautiful flow of freeriding. He worked for many years as a ski instructor across Europe and as a freeride guide in Whistler, Canada. Since then he has explored many slopes around the globe, preferably off the beaten track.

Philipp Baier

Freeriding Entrepreneur - Lifexperiences

Let it be the wind, the waves, or the mountains – Philipp draws his life force from the elements and pushing his limits against the forces of nature. He is passionate about creating unique life experiences and as founder of the South African based travel company Heaven Must Wait Travel and Mallorcan based events and incentive travel company LifeXperiences. Philipp has built his professional life around his passion. Philipp was put into his first set of skis at the age of 2 years and has been riding the slopes ever since. Creating Letsgofreeriding together with Gerry and Michael is a natural extension of his passion for gathering dynamic individuals for an outstanding experience whilst searching for fresh powder.

Michael Pfeffer

Freeriding Journalist ZDF

Michael is a passionate freerider with a deep background in winter sports. He competed in international ski races and was a member of the German students national team. His career as a graduated journalist was always connected with ski and snowboard. He wrote numerous articles about ski resorts and tested ski equipment for various magazines. He produced films about heli-skiing in Alaska and Georgia, discovering the Kaukasus as early as 1989. As sports reporter he was present at all Olympic games since Barcelona 1992. As commentator he followed the Tour de France for a decade, and has been covering the alpine world cup races and produces features about skiing for ZDF, the biggest German TV channel. His true passion on the mountain lies in steep and deep.
